Lecture on 'INCOTERMS'

A guest lecture on 'INCOTERMS' was organized at PIMSE on 5th September, 2009. Mr. Abraham Varghese, Regional Sales Manager, A Technologies Ltd. presided over the lecture and spoke on the various terms used in international trade. He also spoke on Pre-requisite for local trade, Pre-requisite for foreign trade, Difference of foreign trade from local trade and International chamber of commerce [ICC]. The lecture proved of high educational value to the students. The students took away great learning from the program.

The Lecture was organized by Prof. Tahemina Kazi and hosted by Miss. Shruti Kaul. Aroud 60 students were present for the program. The topics covered in the program are as unders:

• Type of trade
• Pre-requisite for local trade
• Pre-requisite for foreign trade
• Difference of foreign trade from local trade.
