Rotaract Activities

According to a survey Pune has got maximum number of two wheelers in Asia. And most of the two wheeler riders do not follow traffic rules and do not carry relevant documents which are required while travelling. To raise the awareness about the importance of having a PUC check up done amongst the riders of two wheelers, the Rotractors of PIMSE along with a PUC Agency organized a PUC check up camp at Deccan below the Z-bridge on 10th March, 2010.

The PUC check up for almost thousand two wheelers was carried out at a nominal amount of Rs. 10. To avoid traffic congestion the Rotaract volunteers took charge and controlled the traffic which avoided traffic congestion and thus avoided inconvenience to other people.

The Rotaract volunteers of PIMSE toiled hard from morning till evening to accomplish their mission of making a difference to the society.  Their indomitable spirit was reflected in their willingness and dedication to work towards the betterment of the society.

This activity of the Rotractors of PIMSE was carried out under the able guidance and leadership of Prof. Porinita Banerjee and Prof. Mandar Brahme.
