Bicycle Rally for Global WarmingEnvironment plays a very vital role in our lives. There is a lot of damage that is being caused to the environment these days due to a lot of different things. It is thus, very necessary to take preventive measures when we have time in our hands. Once the damage has been caused it would be really difficult to revert it back. Our students realized the need of the hour and thus to promote the use of bicycles instead of vehicles they took out a cycle rally. Held on the theme of “Global Warming Awareness” and to avoid the use of plastic bags the rally was conducted. During the rally the students even made banners to pass on their message to the general public. Dr. Anwar Shaikh, Director, PIMSE, flagged off the rally in which 80 students took part. The rally was taken out from the institute premises and covered areas such as M.G. Road, East street, and Maruti Cross roads.
