Inauguration of E-Week

Entrepreneurship, we say, is the need of the hour and, thus, this must get recognition as only then the youth would endorse its benefits. Entrepreneurship education needs to gain firm ground to change the face of the economy. It is only under such a scenario that we would witness a longer queue of job providers than job seekers. And our efforts would sure show productive and efficient youth, par excellence, with this basic idea the E-week celebration started in PIMSE.

Keeping this in mind PIMSE’s E-Cell “Inspire” began its E- week celebration with loads of passion and zeal. This year the E-Week celebration was based on the theme of ‘India: Opportunities Within'.

At the inauguration function the students took pledge to help build an entrepreneur India, followed by a very stirring and  humorous  speech by Dr. Anwar Shaikh, Director, PIMSE, who asked the students to cultivate in them the “Never Say Die” spirit of entrepreneurs, which is the foremost requirement for success.

With increasing globalization there are a lot of different opportunities that are coming into picture in India. How these opportunities can be availed and how the students go about perceiving them was the basic motto of the E-week celebration.

The celebration of E-week began with great enthusiasm and gusto amongst our students who participated whole heartedly during the weeklong celebration. The entire experience during the E-Week 2010 was indeed very enriching.
